Meet the founder

Linda developed the Beauty for Ash method over nearly two decades of trial and error. It all started in a tiny one room studio apartment, where the need for order was necessary and the desire for beauty was desperate. Now many years and transformed spaces later, the method has become a daily practice.

The name of the method is a nod to Isaiah 61:3 “..to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes.” The idea of breathing new life into what was once dead, and restoring peace where there is chaos.

When she isn’t organizing and designing, she enjoys gardening, creative writing, being in nature, and spending time with her little family of five.
